Gabriele Herzog is a freelance illustrator and artist who lives and works in London. She grew up in Basel, Switzerland where she studied at the Schule fuer Gestaltung Basel for her BA, then moved to London to live and to work. In 2009 she graduated from the University of the Arts London (Camberwell College of Arts) with an MA in Illustration.

Gabriele's drawings are informed by an interest in language – how to interpret, translate and visualize words and their narrative. Her images convey an intuitive simplicity. The narrative context occurs through juxtaposing, sequence and image with text.

Selected Clients: Paul Smith, AllCity, Frank, facts+fiction (-Goethe Institut), The Bookery Cook, PENSON group,
